We have adopted the following as Society rules in addition of course to the normal rules of golf.
All pathways including cart tracks are classed as immovable obstructions and may be dropped one club length from the nearest edge of the obstruction not nearer the hole. In the case of out of bounds or a wall being within this distance the ball may be dropped on the far side of the obstruction not nearer the hole
A ball striking a power line or its pylon may be replayed without penalty.
Stones or other items such as twigs or leaves in bunkers may be removed without penalty. In cases of heavy rain where water channels have been gauged in the bunkers relief in the bunker may be taken not nearer the hole. (This must be in agreement with your playing partners)
Winter rules will be played throughout the year, that is when your ball is on the fairway, you may mark, lift, clean and replace the ball within 6 inches (15 cms) of the marker, not nearer the hole
For El Plantio only
If the wooden railings on the ground around areas of palm trees impede your stance or swing you may take relief without penalty one club length from your ball. If the ball is inside this railing the ball must not be dropped outside of the railing (i.e the relief must be taken within the railings)
If all your playing partners agree that your shot went into the palm trees grouped by the wooden railings and you are not able to find your ball, you may treat this situation as a water hazard. (Point of entry two club lengths or as far back as you like keeping the point of entry in line with the flag with a penalty shot.)
